lol what is Ottawa going to do without its giant energy ATM? Nearly a third of Canada's trade (by value) with the US is oil and gas and all of it comes from Alberta. Losing or dismantling it on purpose would kill Canada as we know it

Ottawa definitely knows Alberta is a cash cow to feed the gibs beast so I expect they will fight this tooth and nail
