JOD attracted some attention for making straight up delusional Ridin' with Biden comments on television in the wake of his debate. But a campaign manager is a bit like a defense attorney. They're supposed to back their candidate even under the worst possible circumstances. Much like a public defender trying to save a swivel-eyed loon from the chair, she gave it her best.
I suspect she was badly hamstrung by having Sleepy Joe for a candidate. But we'll see.
