It's undeniably a better position than Biden was in prior to him dropping out.
It looks like Kamala's current position is pretty similar to where Biden was just before the debate, actually.
Certainly seems to vindicate all the people who argued that switching from Biden to Kamala would be a net gain for the dems.

She polls pretty much the same as Biden, the only difference is voters hated Biden's brain drain while with Kamala voters hate her everything else

I still think Trump is ahead, but when both polls and gambling odds show Harris as being in a better position than Biden, claiming none of this is real is really sticking your head in the sand.
I do agree with some other commenters here that most people don't know much about Harris other than she's not literally going to die before the next term ends.
