Sassoon is a rightoid. She is also the woman who crushed SBF to death on the stand. She did his cross and was the source of all those lulzy
quotes. She and Scotten are serious prosecutors and a normal AG would be upset to lose them. But then, a normal AG wouldn't be openly dropping charges in exchange for favors.
