My guy, in any other instance the prior candidate the dementia-addled r-slur was up against wouldnt also be a dementia-addled r-slur that was kept hidden for four years and then admitted at the last minute that his advisors had to be a shadow presidency because the actual elected president couldnt do presidential things he was that impaired
The average voter could compare the two situations and compare the discourse around both then throw out the latter discourse because it seemed like an attempt by the people who pushed the former discourse to nakedly grab back their power
