I think you've missed the point of populism. Democrats keep trying to fight MAGA sentiment with concrete and sensible policy (not to say I agree with their policy, but at least they try to base it on data and established theory more or less). But that leaves them open to discussion critique, negotiation and compromises. You know, messy stuff. Populism works by appealing directly to gut instinct, confirmation bias, and pithy but largely empty slogans.

What the Democrats need is someone who can be a populist in addition to having solid policy proposals. And to stop sabotaging those people in the primaries. :marseysmughips:

heres how bernie can still win

When you're threatening to invade Mexico, Canada and Greenland while arming Israel for genocide and threatening to collapse the Iranian economy, you're still the Party of Foreign Intervention. Edit: forgot Panama, threatening to invade Panama. And to conquer Gaza after the ethnic cleansing. :soycry:

None of this drivel explains how democrats will win in 2026 and 2028. :gigachad4:

Ultimately there is nothing the Democrats can do to MAKE the voters listen to them. Ultimately the voters have to choose they care more about equitable economic relationships more then they care about trans kids and what bathroom they use. ...

dear subhuman filth

... The parties don't fight over who is right and wrong, the parties fight over what the problems are. Democrats: lack of quality healthcare, cost of housing, low min wages, etc. and Republicans - Abortions, Immigrants, the factual existence of queer people, and the lack of prayer in school. :marseysurejan:
