How r-slurred are they? Fentanyl should be seen more as a poison than a "drug" and they are decriminalizing it and grouping it with heroin? If someone OD on clean heroin, it's literally their own fricking fault for being stupid and taking too much. The ld50 of fentanyl is like 100 x times of heroin. This is why you don't just decriminalize everything. Nobody would even want to use fentanyl if there was a clean and legal way to score heroin. Best most of these ODs werent even from knowingly taking fentanyl, but they took something else and it was mixed with fentanyl. Fentanyl is pitbull of the drug world and should stay banned.

There are other considerations than dose like method of administration. For example, snorting heroin, eating it and injecting it into your veins is a world of difference. Nobody is gonna die eating a small amount of heroin unless you have a pre-existing medical condition or something but r-slurs have to pump it into veins for absolutely no fricking reason, of course they are gonna choke on their vomit. But with fentanyl it hardly matters cause even a small speck can kill you if its ultra pure.
