So I looked it up. An auto pen is a a physical machine that just makes someone signature using a pen that is a replica of their signature.
Why would there be an auto pen for the presidents signature? That seems like it's asking for controversy

they've been using them for almost a century
the old timey ones were mechanical devices and you loaded several pens and aligned your signature blocks to sign them all at once
but honestly what is the functional difference between holding a pen with your hand to put ink on paper, commanding a machine to hold a pen to put your signature on paper, or digitally signing a document? It's just a visual representation that you acknowledge and agree with the text of the document.

I could understand it for signing autographs for your adoring fans or something but a device that signs the presidents signature on legal orders should be illegal. Why even leave room for conspiracies?

signatures for the highest level of classified documents are done with no ink, all digital
I supposed the conspiracy would be that someone else used the autopen to forge the president's signature, which is a valid concern
but federal e-signatures use a physical authenticator, digital tokens and certifications, and encryption
I'd imagine that the autopen isn't just some loose device, and that it has layers of security built into it so it only signs things when the president authorizes its use
