I have an older brother, but I was always bigger and stronger than him because he was born premature. We used to play a game called "neverletyougo" in which I'd annoy him by holding onto his arm while he'd unsuccessfully try to pry my hands off. I'll never forget the disappointment that came with him hitting puberty lol. He's freakishly strong now and I'm unable to bully him :(

Loss of innocence is tragic but idealization of innocence as an adult is the kind of fundamental man/woman-child mentality that redscare usually dunks on. This post belongs in Tumblr with a bunch of soft-bois replying that they just wanna be friends too.

I get the seem feeling of repulsion as when I read that one quote from one of Houellebecq's books where some 30 year old incel laments that he never will experience the innocent love that can only be experienced in youth ("you will never be a young girl's dream..."). It's not even the sexual aspect that I'm most annoyed by, it's the desire for regression and the idealization of being an island that is constantly nurtured and supported at the expense of everyone else. Sure, the desire to not be leered at by men is understandable, but idealizing childhood indicates that there are other, more immature desires involved.
