Well you got one thing correct that Evangelicals and other low church :marseyluthercringe: get wrong: Baptism is a Sacrament that cleanses sin and confers the Holy Spirit.

Yea, verily, Our Lord hath constrained me to command this and all future generations that no man entereth unto the Path of Righteousness lest he profess faith and repentance before baptism like unto Jesus the Anointed One of Israel.

Likewise, all mankind must go into the water as He hath done For All Righteousness, to be laid down and return forthwith in the similitude of the death and resurrection of the Only Begotten of The Father, who was slain that all living who believe may repent of their sins, to obtain a remission of their sins.

Do they?, I have never stumbled upon a low-church Protestant who denied that Baptism was a sacrament (although they might not use this exact word, it pretty much is to them), in fact they de-facto view it as the only true sacrament. !catholics !christians

Is the part that they don't always agree with. Baptist conferences have been in discussions in the US to accept the Nicene Creed again so it's not a universal. :marseyshrug:

Nondenominational churches and Pentecostals are probably the groups most prone to that particular heresy. American Evangelicals when polled are all over the map, with about 1/3 being Arians :marseyburn: and a greater percentage denying the Trinity and it's an institutional failure that they acknowledge and discuss openly. Nominal Catholics aren't much better on these types of questions but the Magisterium isn't divided at the higher levels. Why do we need a million pings on this thread? !catholics !christians :marseywave2:
