  • Video footage of the rocket malfunctioning and causing the explosion from multiple angles. Independently geolocated and at the exact time of the "strike". Including footage that was streamed live on Al jeezera

  • A call between Hamas guys talking about it being an Islamic Jihad rocket was released by the IDF.

  • Also the hospital is still standing. it was just a fire in the parking lot from the rocket fuel.

  • Rocket debris matches that of an Islamic Jihad rocket and not a Israeli one.

There's more evidence but these should be more than enough to convince even the most r-slurred dramatard.

How did a rocket starting a fire in a parking lot kill 300 people?

Has anyone other than the Israeli government--which is not physically in Gaza--and other direct Israeli allies determined that the Islamic Jihad was responsible?

My understanding is the theory is the hospital was used to store munitions and a rocket accidentally ignited them, explaining a higher level of damage. I suppose it's possible, but it seems kinda close to cartoon logic considering the well established weakness of Palestinian rockets. I have also not seen or heard anyone describe actual evidence that the hospital had weapons.

I hope it's not true, but the headlines today are the same as yesterday. Traded accusations of blame.

Occam's razor led me to infer that the power that is currently flattening Gaza with a WWII-style mass bombing campaign might have been the one responsible for the blast. If this turns out to have been a freak accident caused by jihadists, or a propaganda op, I'll acknowledge that, but this does not somehow erase the ongoing indiscriminate Israeli attacks on civilians that already far exceed the damage done by Hamas.
