Israel's Unit 8200 (SIGINT) *did* give advance warning of the Oct 7 attack

https://www.hurriyetdailynews.com/israeli-intel-warned-of-hamas-plans-before-october-7-attack-report-197576

:#marseygossipunsure:

The brief said the Palestinian militants were aiming to take hundreds of hostages... "The expected number of hostages: 200-250 people"... Hamas seized 251 hostages.

Sounds like they had some pretty good intel. Of course we don't know if there was also 10 more reports warning about stuff that never did happen.

This is interesting because there was an attempt a couple months ago to blame Unit 8200 for everything that went wrong. It turns out I was right. They were using the typical bureaucratic trick of blaming the glowies for everything because the glowies can't fight back in the press.

They warned of an attempt too grab a few hundred hostages at once, which was totally unprecedented for Hamas. That's not not vague, that's a specific warning that turned out too be true. As @Redactor0 said:

This doesn't prove that Unit 8200 was perfect and did everything right, but it does prove they did detect preparations for the attack and did warn about it. Which was something they were being accused of. Again, nothing vague about those accusations.

@Redactor0 stand with Israel especially Unit 8200.
