Chinese state-sponsored hackers broke into the U.S. Treasury Department this month and stole documents from its workstations, according to a letter to lawmakers, opens new tab that was provided to Reuters on Monday.
The hackers compromised third-party cybersecurity service provider BeyondTrust and were able to access unclassified documents, the letter said, calling it a "major incident."
According to the letter, hackers "gained access to a key used by the vendor to secure a cloud-based service used to remotely provide technical support for Treasury Departmental Offices (DO) end users. With access to the stolen key, the threat actor was able to override the service's security, remotely access certain Treasury DO user workstations, and access certain unclassified documents maintained by those users."

!mormons !christians !burgers
With the Amishcels I can believe them indeed increasing their demographics because of how much children they have, and how very, very few of their children actually leave their community when they grow up, but the Mormons?, this is not the 1960s anymore, Mormoncels are not growing like how they used to, and a crapton of members have been leaving the Church since the turn of the century.
Furthermore, the LDScels still count even non-practicing members as members, so even their claims of having over 15 million members is sketchy at best, additionally, unlike the Amish which pretty much only exist in the US and Canada, the Mormons are spread all across the world, and have millions of members who do not live in the US, so the "Mormon population growth" scenarios that are centered towards only the US ignore the LDS demographics that live outside of it.
!ifrickinglovescience how about a !demographics ping group?!

I'd look at Mormondon as 20-40 years later than everyone else on cultural issues. They have on average like 3-5 right now, with like half of them becoming non-mormon when they grow up. !mormons thoughts?

Mormons keep defecting too
their approximate rate is over 1/3 or smth, but Amish is under 1/5
Amish defect less because they know how to party hard and work hard
and don't do creepy Freemason ripoff rituals in spirit Halloween tier polyester ritual gowns (but Amish do make women wear plastic ice cream buckets on their heads...)
Amish cults are more focused on actively maintaining community wealth flows, rather than hoarding centralized temple wealth
fun fact:
The Amish and Mennonites have secured the city of Pinecraft Florida, so that they can take cheap beach vacations full of halalkosher activities and new friends

Based on Mormons I know, I'd say about 80% of them leave the Church as young people. However most of them are still pretty culturally Mormon, they just like beer, premarital s*x and sleeping in on Sundays so they are still a powerful cultural block
