You are all poor AF if you think over 240k is wealthchad.

I wont work for a bign again and I enjoy working in bumfrick FL so effectively capped at ~$350k unless I wana grind. Im not a wealthchad. I like thinking about earning bign money again but then I remember what the lifestyle is like and having to live somewhere terrible (like anywhere on the West coast).

I feel like it's really area dependent. 240k in San Francisco is probably lower middle class at best. 240k a year where I am would be about 7 times the average household income. You won't be the richest person ever but with that income I could have an 8000 sq foot house with a pool and a big garage/barn and a couple hundred acres and pay it all off in 6 or so years.

It is nice but then i also hate always having to work like everyday. Week days i work on work stuff then on weekends i volunteer and do school work even if im free during the day. So you work less hours overall but have to always be on. It's definitely nice to be an adult and be able to take days off when you want to go on trips  and have money. I wanna visit some people so bad but its hard with such a rigid schedule.

Youll make more, bb, and like Just hang in there, and Like I said, those internships are an extremely easy way in, and like Just one Summer to prove yourself, and youll be set right before graduating but its whatever

(Assuming you have a useful degree, and Even then, if you get accepted, do it for 3 months, and youll be making $60k right off the bat)

I have literally never worked an official job. Everything I have done has been undocumented and under-the-table. Do I technically count as a NEET?

Jump in the discussion.

Yeah, that wouldn't be official employment

I made like $110k total or something last year between my old job n meme job. But my meme job is not doing too hot bros. Looking like turbo poor 30-40k this year. Should I just lock in and grind or try to go back to being a codecel?

CODECEL, BIPOC!!!!

omg! :#marseywtf2:

Fair, if I lock in the meme job could be a lot more but maybe the low revenue rn is enough of a sign that I should get a normal job again.

ok so It depends on your current expenses, but treat it like a pension, and Make that money for 5-10 years, invest it, and cruise on some easy 30-hour work week elsewhere

i feel like In regard to the second job, you can go independent, and Maybe take up a few clients from your current job, or sell yourself to a few companies, and Low hours, high pay

Obviously, it depends on what kind d of programing you can do
