Prior coverage

As the drama continues, and a based new fork was made, which really makes the Pale Moon developers seethe,, Moonchild writes a new manifesto, proclaiming he would make developing forks harder for everyone, due to "mob rule".

After Moonchild’s message, coincidentally, it turns out the latest version is placed into a login wall,, which eventually takes the Drama all the way to Reddit. Moonchild denies that he violated the MPL

However, it turns out to only be a temporary glitch, but one of the instigators, JustOff, is still not satisfied, leading to a mild, boring slapfight between another developer.

I know, boring continuation of prior drama, but entertaining rants are to still be found.

I tried neeva once and they seemed cool.

Ex-Google ad boss builds tracker-free search engine

An advert- and tracker-free search engine launches in the UK, France and Germany on Thursday.

Neeva has 600,000 users in the US, where it launched last year.

Creator Sridhar Ramaswamy, who worked at Google for 16 years and ran its ad business, told BBC News the technology sector had become "exploitative" of people's data, something he no longer wanted to be a part of.

Trying out Neeva Search the word "migraine" on both Google and Neeva, and the first page of the results are fairly similar - links to news articles and factual information.

But while Google follows with a map, social-media feeds and links to used-car dealers, Neeva sticks with different BMW official pages.

"The ultimate goal is to offer an alternative for the consumer base who are worried about their privacy, who don't want Google hoovering up their data and targeting ads based on their search history".

In brief Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko tells Decrypt that he believes a major, long-lasting franchise IP could come out of the current NFT space.

Could the next major entertainment franchise come out of the NFT market?

That’s what Solana co-founder and Solana Labs CEO Anatoly Yakovenko believes, telling Decrypt at this week’s Mainnet conference that NFT projects could lead to significant IP in the decades to come.

He described NFTs as the “dominant, breakout use case” right now for Web3 technology, and said that tokenized assets can be used as the backbone for all sorts of creations.

The Bored Ape Yacht Club, for example, allows each NFT holder to create and sell derivative artwork and projects based on their owned images.

Like, OK—some of these are going to be Friendster, MySpace, or Facebook, but it's really, really hard to predict.”

Sick of data leaks, Indonesians are siding with a hacker who exposed 1.3 billion SIM card details

On August 31, a user named Bjorka posted an entry on a little-known site called Breached Forums, with the bland title: “Indonesia SIM Card (Phone Number) Registration 1.3 Billion.”

Indonesians’ data is exposed at such a rate that citizens jokingly call it an “open-source country.”

The following year, a hacker breached the databases of BPJS Kesehatan, the country’s healthcare and social security agency, revealing national ID numbers and more for 279 million people, some of whom are deceased.

Hire a consultant to investigate what data has been breached, what’s the root cause, and what’s the next step,” said Mulyadi, who has also been frustrated by spam sent to his private number. “

As a result, when a leak occurs, it’s not always clear where the breach originated: from one of the government agencies, or the companies themselves.

“The challenge is how strong this institution’s authority will be, [which] will entirely depend on the president’s good faith,” Djafar added.

Generated by TLDR This:

Overview On August 24th, 2022, we reported a vulnerability to Netlify affecting their Next.js "netlify-ipx" repository which would allow an attacker to achieve persistent cross-site scripting and full-response server side request forgery on any website out of the box.

Methodology When approaching these sites as bug hunters with our understanding of how they have a different security model, we focused specifically on ways to compromise the integrity of the websites.

When this issue is paired with the default behavior for Next.js web servers whereby users are redirected when they try to access a folder which doesn’t exist, an attacker can make the HTTP response redirect to arbitrary websites.

Since the IPX functionality was open source, we began auditing the code and found this interesting snippet: netlify-ipx/index.ts const handler: Handler = async (event, _context) => { const host = event.headers.host const protocol = event.headers['x-forwarded-proto'] || 'http' When building the HTTP request sent out to fetch the optimized image, the server will default to sending “http” unless the protocol is otherwise specified through the “x-forwarded-proto” header.

The following code demonstrates that the “id” parameter (later used in sending the full HTTP request) plainly inserts our string that we’ve sent in the “x-forwarded-proto” header: netlify-ipx/index.ts const isLocal = !

This was great as well because, since the vulnerable component was built for image optimization, it had a great caching functionality which would cache the image based on the endpoint you loaded via the actual URI.

To srspost for a second, this is bad for the future internet, and if it happens, I’m going to blame both Big Tech and cancel culture for this. Not much Drama, just me :marseyschizo:posting and :marseyseethe:posting.

If your soldering skills sucks it's a good alternative but Nintendo has ability to put firmly on card readers so can void the cards potentially in future. A jailbreak is kinda better since it gives you full access to the console, like I put x2 movement speed in xenoblade 3 to not walk aimless for hours that thing is not possible with just cartridge sd
