Dude talks about inflation but doesn't talk about unemployment

:surejan:

Simple truth Russian economy is growing

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17316664610793922.webp

Yet all those geniuses looking exclusively to hang on some copes that Russian economy is about to collapse.

Inflation can be 200% but if you still have a job and your salary increased by 220% you got richer.

Same people jerked about that sanctions effect is not directly. Like can those neighbors even think ? When sanctions are announced economy get directly hit and has to find alternatives, the more time passes the better adopted the economy gets towards those sanctions and also finds alternatives.

Also let's assume everything is ultra bad for Russian economy. Will China let Russia lose against the west ?

EU was saying banning Russian from swift the only world banking system at that time will destroy Russian economy and today there are tons of swift alternatives

Other blame west:

"If you don't give us money we build nuke, can we have money to build nuke ?"

Basically after Trump won those pro Ukrainians started losing followers.

So I posted yesterday that Russian have entered Kupyansk

Pro Ukrainian Twitter accounts:

https://i.rdrama.net/images/17316664594973824.webp

Today:

:surejan:

Claim yesterday only 2 Russian missiles were flying and only 1 hit something. We got yesterday a video from Odesa 3 missiles hitting same spot.

And this time we even actually know what was hit, some boats from Austria and AD systems from Germany

https://i.rdrama.net/images/1731666460611231.webp

Also France is ready to send the Ukrainian it trained to Ukraine

It will be one of weakest Ukrainian brigade because frogs have zero combat experience and they teaching some textbook shit Ukrainians that been fighting for a long time.

Russian are clearly not saving since interest rate goes up and it's generally not Slav culture to save.

Also inflation is i9%

I guess the "worry" isn't that it's extremely bad now but it will quickly become so due to compounding failures i.e. "very gradually and then suddenly". But yeah a lot of this sounds like Russia will collapse in two weeks type news from the beginning of the war just repackaged. The counter is that even if they don't collapse it's not like the average Russkie will enjoy living like Iran (the usual example of hard-hitting sanctions) but the counter to that is that Iran has been dealing with such even before the original round of current US sanctions began in the 90s so that may just be a problem specific to them rather than anything useful for evaluating Russia.

I wouldn't been mad if at that time I didn't had macro economics class and some representative of European Central Bank didn't have us lecture how sanctions are about to destroy Russia by summer and there won't be inflation in EU. Then same year on October I had micro economics class and had to write papers about how to combat inflation in EU

I don't remember what exactly I wrote but it was basically BS praising Ursula and EU and I got best score :marseyxd:

I liked my French professor because despite me being absolutely shit in it she gave me good score.

She also could fancy Parisian telling us stories how they drink coffee in terras and how fancy they are.

And then ask what advantage west Europe has against China. Some guy responded happily brain. She then started roasting him telling how smarter Chinese are compared to Western European :marseyxd:

I am studying economics mixed with engineering to get an more comfy and less demanding job than codecel

Simple truth Russian economy is growing

"For example, the supporters of tariffs treat it as self-evident that the creation of jobs is a desirable end, in and of itself, regardless of what the persons employed do. That is clearly wrong. If all we want are jobs, we can create any number--for example, have people dig holes and then fill them up again, or perform other useless tasks. Work is sometimes its own reward. Mostly, however, it is the price we pay to get the things we want. Our real objective is not just jobs but productive jobs--jobs that will mean more goods and services to consume."

  • Milton Friedman

paying citizens with tax money to sit in a factory to produce something the government then shoots out of a barrel a month later isn't economic growth

Sanctions started in 2014

Will they shoot out of the barrel on its 18th birthday?

I get that tariffs are a market inefficiency, but I can't assume that all market inefficiencies are bad. I can also accept that Trump's proposed % are too high, but what about if they were half the amount?

There are benefits to tariffs, such as natsec, autarky, social cohesion, and of course job creation. Tradeoffs too.

Libertarians, outside of some basedties like free speech, privacy & hating central banks, seem like massive rigid-thinking neurodivergents who are relegated to online forums for a reason. Their socially-adept counterparts, the globalists/neolibs, are the same folk who spent 30 years turning Aus/CN/NZ into homogenous Chindian hellscapes. I reject cosmopolitanism for this reason.

(not to mention libertarians supporting high immigration when non-white blocs vote for much more collectivistic policies)

Tariffs aren't bad when implemented properly.

I unironically don't care I just wanna see the US go back to a closed and protected economy and see the rest of the world go to shit. :patrioticscreeching:
