Oh since you mention it, Soviet Union was first country that let those gender changes surgery and they canceled it like 2 years ago and made it illegal so many tranies have to prove the did gender change before it became illegal or they could face jail time
Basically when Soviet Union was created like first it so month they had also gay rights but they removed it fast but they didn't removed trans right since nobody knew what it is and decided no to touch it

So I can't imagine a lot of Ukrainian won't do legalisation. The only one I know that ain't doing it are the NPP workers since Ukraine is paying them salaries and they also get salaries from Russia but on other side I doubt Russian will care if people still have Ukrainian citizenship.
