...but for real, though - it really is rather ludicrous how much Halloween keeps enroaching on summer. Like, I was in da grocery store back in, like, late July, and they already had fricking skeletons and ghost decorations up - along with all the mini-candy packs that people get so that they can just dump it all in the bowl for the kiddos.
sure, I guess it's good to buy all your shit now and therefore avoid the greater traffic closer to the occassion...but neighbor, it's July. I don't want to think about pumpkins or scary spirits or treeless leaves and shit, it's SUMMER! Let me enjoy my gosh-darn sunny days and green vegetation while i can, yeah? and then let me go all gaga for halloween when the time is right - cause you are going to miss these warm times when the 31st comes (especially if it fricking snows like it did for me last year
