Jannies can claim Reddit would just give sub control to compliant mods and it'd be less effective, and they'd probably be right. And remember they can bring back deleted subs, they did it with KiA I believe

Assuming they could private the sub indefinitely people would just make another sub and nothing would change. The protest seems stupid but it's basically all the jannies can do. They really should just stop lying to themselves about having any authority in this situation, it's pathetic.
