This is a great way to show ownership and the whole league that the fans aren't the problem. When money was put into the Oakland A's and they weren't intentionally tanking, the fans were there to support in droves. It'll be hilarious to see them tonight going nuts and the timing of this winning streak couldn't be happening at a better time.

Meh, the point is to make a statement that baseball is viable in Oakland, and that there's a path forward that doesn't involve moving to Vegas.
One day's ticket revenue won't make a large impact, and after all, the point of the protest is to keep a baseball team to give money to.
