This is interesting. I remember in the start of pandemic over the month of February I had gone from "probably not this time" to "IT'S COMING DEFINITELY" but through mid-March it was all "Experts say that experts agree there is no evidence there could be pandemic in America". It was infuriating, and then when the NBA used most of the testing capacity of the state to decide a game cancellation, I was relieved that at least the government would admit it's real.
Cancel a game for every mayo mass murderer (you know if 3 died in a rowdy drive-by there'd be no attention) and get some collective deterrence going.
