America is showing itself to be the dumbest place on Earth right now. Yet, somehow, it's managed to not be dumb enough for soccer (or "futbawl", or whatever the heck you bland-food-eating wanks call it).
Oh noe.. Mr. Belvedere is on the pitch!
Dafuq is a pitch? What's a lorry? How the frick is your windshield screening anything?
Tip-top, lads. Tip-top. Revolutionary losers. A new Rome you are not.
I mean, aren't most soccer games decided by ref decisions because the average score at the end of a match is like 2-1 and refs have the power to award a team a foul kick that has like an 80% chance of going in?
That's why I can never get into soccer, every time I start getting interested in it I watch some penalty kick and remember that the sport is mostly about ref decisions.
Despite a few controversial ones this season people mostly agree with the ref choices. var was brought in too in recent years to make sure that they're correct where they matter so no one gets a free penalty etc (though people are protesting that now too because they're r-slurred)
