been watching 1997 raw episodes recently and basically every time shawn michaels comes out to talk the entire crowd chants SHAWN IS GAY or some variation and half the time he responds with I AINT GAY ASK UR MOM.

it's up and down, but generally i enjoy it. there's always a few segments or matches on every show that are frickin' great. there's also always a segment or match that's turn the tv off bad. usually those involve chris jericho lately. :uhuh:

jericho is usually pretty good. for his entire career he's been one of the BEST EVER at knowing when his shit was getting old, going away for a couple months, and coming back fresh and super over.

for some reason he's flat out refusing to do that here and it's killing his entire legacy. there are some people still in to what he's doing, but the general consensus is :quote: please go away jericho yer killing TV every time you show up :quote:. last night he did an old west back to back take 10 paces and turn thing with a mexican who has a cowboy-like gimmick and it WAS SO FRICKING BAD. :xd:

ricky starks was released on like friday. he debuted on NXT tuesday.

miro and malakai black also got released at the same time and will definitely be going to WWE.

last month penta showed up in WWE after his contract ended with AEW. his brother is still under contract and tweeting out stuff like I'M LITERALLY A SLAVE BEING HELD PRISONER REEEEE and it's hilarious.

i can't think of the last big WWE to AEW move. edge, maybe? but that's been a while. OH WAIT. sasha. sasha banks was the last big WWE to AEW move. that happened last year. though she was out of WWE for a while when she showed up.

Huh a lot less transfer than I expected, but FRICK I really liked Starks and Penta. Miro and Malakai did like nothing interesting during their tenure so I don't give a shit. I heard about Sasha moving over but nothing since, I assumed she's been sidelined.

sasha is currently strutting around AEW tv with four championship belts. one from AEW, two from japan, one from an indy i think. she's a TV regular she's just not really been doing anything good enough for people to talk about. she had a couple matches with kris statlander that were GREAT. she's currently feuding with harley cameron who has been an absolute fricking star on TV in recent weeks. beyond that she ain't been great in AEW. half of it's booking and half of it is...i think she's just not that good?

ricky starks is a good fit for WWE and i'm sure he'll do well there, but it does suck that he's gone. he's a little tiny dude (yanno as far as wrasslers go), but he's very good at what he does. he pretty much self sabotaged himself in AEW because he wanted to go to WWE. penta had apparently always wanted to go to WWE, like even before AEW existed. once AEW made him famous in the US he knew he was in there and WWE would want him. they never wanted him before he was in AEW. it was time for penta to move on anyway. he's great but i can only watch so many lucha bros v young bucks matches before they all blend together.

miro and malakai had apparently been refusing booking/storyline things for a very long time. miro hadn't been on AEW TV in like 2 years or something crazy.

That all makes sense. I've been getting the itch to get back into wrasslin' so I'll probably try to catch up. To bad there's no good place to discuss it since all the places to go to are pozzed or just actually racist lol.
