What was this about? I remember a couple of years ago there was drama about City getting absurdly large sponsorship deals from Saudi companies and shit and people basically saw this as a way to essentially launder money. Financial fair play rules demand that you can only spend so much in relation to your revenue, juicing sponsors was seen as an easy way to generate "legit" revenue when it's really just your owners dumping more money into the club via different sponsorship deals.
