The idea that the left needs to pander to "lonely young men" is getting on my nerves: /r/TwoXChromosomes

How it started: feminism is for men too! How it’s going:

I saw a stat that said the “happiest” demographic is currently single childless women. Lol it’s true

the size of this cope is staggering

but I think it's something about the idea that men are somehow more lonely than other people

Well they kind of are. Or rather they're at the equivalent of 50 year old women in desirability but without the chance to have built a family or any kind of support network. Men typically have to wait at least until their mid 20s to not get completely ignored.

Because it means you would have to give up some of your own power duh.

But our culture tells men they have a right to sexual and romantic companionship from women and attention/respect/praise from everyone

It's pretty much the opposite. e.g. jokes between men especially older men always have that nihilistic edge to them, that things are shit and will remain shit and you'll never get what you want.

They need better role models, therapy and healthy men’s groups to join for camaraderie.

Yeah I'm sure if I go to one of those man groups and engage in their crying circles or whatever she considers to be 'healthy' that'll cure me of the need to frick

Leftoid feminists basically do the same thing as Rightoids do with poor people in that ‘you don’t get to complain that you’re poor in the US, Africans are much poorer’ but it’s ‘men don’t get to complain about being lonely/poor, they created their own problems with the “patriarchy” and women, LGBT, and others are far more negatively effected by it than men, and men need to get in line’.

Cue ‘wow why are all these incels rightoids? Don’t they know that feminism will help them?’.

We'd be demonized as male shooters NEVER are. They're always "misunderstood" and "bullied" and "loners."
