Spend some time on YouTube listening to the guys who hack into Indian scam call centers and leak the calls. This story and his details in the comments about his wifes behaviour sounds exactly like the typical victim of this stuff

I definitely have a different view on marriage than most of you on here. I follow Jordan Peterson and agree that marriage is a contract you don’t break at the first sign of hardship.

I've spent a lot of time listening to scam calls from a previous job that did voice stuff (detecting scammera is a big problem in voice software) and it's hard for normal people to wrap their head around the mindset of these victims. It sounds so foreign and dumb they don't get how it happens but it's 100% a real thing.
It's actually quite common with scam victims to keep investing into it even when they suspect it's fake and then not really confronting why they did it
The only unusual bit is she's young (27) it usually happens to older people since it relies on exploiting lack of common sense. But it sounds like she's a bit sheltered Christian type
