Speaking of, the monetization of jobs and labor through youtube has grown so quick. Like those guys who clean yards that are overgrown for free or power washing, foids house cleaning hoarders. Then all sorts of psychologists, priests, doctors making advice and reaction videos. I don't remember there being so much of this occupation specific content a few years ago, but now they're constantly showing up.

I guess the pandemic caused it? People were looking for alternative forms of income and more people were at home to watch.

It's not a bad thing, I'm just so surprised by the types of labor channels getting millions of views. All sorts of random things I'd have never expected people to want to watch.
