I have a close, youngish female relative who is a big deal academic. A few years ago she was about to present at an academic conference when a clearly amateurish, outsider guy came up to her and tried to flirt/mansplain the topic she's literally the world expert on, not knowing who she was.

She could have dragged him on twitter.

Instead, she thought, "Hey, here's a good looking guy who is genuinely interested in me and in the weird esoteric topic I research." Now they're happily married and have 3 kids.

Edit: it has come to my attention that some of you are fixated on the words “good looking.” You are right to fixate on this; you shouldn't talk to women unless you're hot.

Mansplaining = boring dudes who dry up female kitty

But women will never be able to explain this in a sentence like that because it's a "feeling" and women, being experts at emotion, will forever weakly rationalize it as some grand gender issue.

In my industry, any male who works in tech learns how to end convos with boring nerds early. It's a basic skill and a constant issue at public events that naturally attract socially inept males.

Bullying. Bullying solves this. They will either improve their social skills or at least learn to avoid social interactions.

Yeah, but people get mad when you bully women.

Good looking to a female physicist is a low bar I imagine

  • not fat

Physicists actually look a lot better than cs types. Zero fashion sense but they tend to be in better shape. Can't compete with geologist and ecologist who are always the hottest of the sciences though.

What about archaeologists? Outside in the sun working like bastards. Socially functional even if nerdy. I dunno if it's strictly regarded as a science but if it is I reckon they're the sexiest ones

You're allowed to mansplain if you're attractive. It's probably one of the bullet points on these foids' powerpoint slides

YTA and you're family too for not stepping in while she was groomed into being a broodmare for some mansplaining interloper.
