Well it's because women instinctively go for men socially and economically superior to their own position. When women already have social power then there are not many men available at all in that relative position. But acknowledging that psychological trait is a current year taboo so it's interesting how it'll be resolved.

It won't be resolved. Most of the current day women are either going to cheat on their husbands or die out. No, they have a good point. Any ideology that supports the state forcibly extracting wealth from the population so some geriatric, scraping the barrel both socially and genetically, can knock out a bunch of future-single-mother-crime-rate-contributors, cannot with a straight face support "muh genes, muh family lineage". If these people want to be parents so bad, make them foster the existing frickups instead of creating more.

some friends of mine wasnt able to conceive and they just got done adopting a newborn baby so it's definitely possible to not have to go out and adopt a 6 year old kid that hates you and is already traumatized (although props to everyone who does that). Literally the only reason they have to not adopt is "muh genes".
