Good for the moid. In my early/mid 20s I had a 5-year gf who eventually dumped me. I had def gotten gross and pudgy.
After a week of being depressed I started going to the gym/losing weight/self-improvement with the goal of winning her back.
Fast forward a few months and I was completely over her and also way out of her league.
