The number of animals that burgers have always blows me away :marseyflushzoom:

I have a friend from when I lived in burgerland and the motherlover has like 2 cats and 3(!!!) dogs :marseydisgust:

And he isn't killing it or anything, the mfer works in restaurant service :marseyfacepalm: This seems like a big burger thing, it's almost a necessity/status symbol to have dogs/cats.

Not to mention that most of these people owning all these pets have no realistic way of humanely taking care of them; dogs need to be walked/played with, but if you have a career, ain't no way you're taking them on 2 walks + playing with them every day, forget it if there's kids involved :marseysigh:

Is one dog not enough? Can these people not just have one unconditional bundle of love in their home? Is half a dozen really necessary?

If you have more animals than you can afford you are definitely judged in america. If you are a single dude with more than one cat even you are judged even of you can afford it. Your "friend" is someone you should be wary of.
