Don't do anything related to poors or homeless; you'll just end up hating them. And keep in mind that most charities can't afford to advertise jobs online - look for volunteer opportunities and call around to see if they have jobs available. Even if no one is hiring you can at least start volunteering to make your parents hate you less.

Don't worry, I definitely wasn't going to. People who are visibly poor scare me, it is a bias I am trying to work on but every time my back is to them I worry that they are going to pull out a knife and stab me.

I'm honestly not kidding. Even construction workers at the gas station scare me a bit, even though logically I shouldn't be. I have also seen statistics that suggest the poorer someone is, the more likely they are to inflict violence upon me.

An animal shelter or vet's office might get you closer to girl volunteers and girl vet techs. There's a good chance you could meet a kindhearted but fragile girl who'd NEET / coast through life with you if that's what you want.

Tbh this is definitely the easiest way for your parents to not hate you. Especially if you're not an only child it'll make their investment in you seem "worth it" morally. Also would be good for social interaction, future jobs, etc

I teach beginner classes on the weekends sometimes when I feel up to it, and I do privates sporadically. That's just for the free membership though, and some side money for me to buy drugs with because my dad checks the account that my allowance goes into. Even if I did it full time I doubt I would be able to live on my own and get access to my savings account that way.
