They aren't sure what they are; if they are a woman or gender fluid or nonbinary. Either way they feel like a woman more than feeling like a man or anything in between. I know how distressing it is for them and I really emphasize with them. The problem is when I say something about what women go through, like say, sexual assault; they say men go through it too.

:smugtranstwitte#r:

I don't know how to articulate just how it is for women. I want them to know what it is to be a woman since they seem to aline more with being a woman than anything else. And I know with being trans they are exposed to a whole new kind of discrimination on top of being a woman.

I just don't know how to address them about it. I feel really unheard when I say being a woman can be scary. That a man can decide violence if I reject them. That a man decided I don't have a right to safe abortion even in life threatening circumstances.

They really are not misogynistic and have never objectified me. They do chores and help me out with a lot of traditionally women roles in the household. They are kind and gentle with me, never laid a hand on me, and honestly treats me really well. I just wish I could help them understand better what it is like being a woman.
