Why is it that men "need a role model" so much, or else they're doomed? I have NEVER heard of this phenomenon for women. : TwoXChromosomes

I found having role models always cringe, especially when it was like "I want to be like Messi, so I'll do everything what he does", then make his profile pic a messi/ronaldo/whatever one. Like bro we are in U15 and you still can't make a proper pass, shut the frick up. It was always silly to me even as a 12 year old.

Although the current young culture revolving around degrees being meme and you just have to a hustler, all that matters in money, is probably even cringier, doubly so because it's always propagated by kids whose parents are poor and spent all their money on pandabuy dunks and fake apple watches, acting like a frickboy when everyone sees that they haven't even touched boobies yet. Fatherless behavior.
