Update: Man who r*ped me now a woman. Going to have to make contact

I don't know if anybody remembers my post from like two years ago or not, but my male feminist transitioned and it left me feeling very conflicted to sun things up.

We had a mutual friend die this week. I know we are both attending the funeral. It's very tragic and I don't want to cause a scene or make things about me. However, I also do not want to hug them or make small talk with them (yes, that's the preferred pronoun).

The last contact I had with them was via Facebook and I told them if they contacted me again I would get in touch with the police. They don't think they did anything wrong, so I have no idea what kind of behavior to expect. People who have had to interact with your male feminists casually, what did you do? How did you cope afterwards and remain calm in the moment?
