I realised a lot of the 'society tells us to' arguments that wokeists use is actually just women trying to grapple with the effects of being so submissive to everything
switching between what society expected vs what helped me become invisible to men due to the discomfort I felt from being sexualized/objectified by them. All this time none of this was coming from what I actually want for myself but a constant battle to not be preyed upon vs being valued by others. It's exhausting
You can be uncomfortable and attractive or lazy and unattractive. Men have that exact same choice to make.
I even prevented myself from enjoying certain things that truly made me happy because other men fetishized them heavily.
