I have gotten to a point in life where I think I'm going to be cutting out all the globohomo lemmings in my life. Ive pretty much got them whittled down to just my wife's friends, and it wouldnt take much to say "I dont think these people are good influences on us and our goals" because all these people do is spend massive amounts of money at bars and huff their own supposed moral superiority. The neoliberal is the most pathetic creature because they think all moral issues should be addressed by the govt and feel no actual need to address anything within themselves. The neoliberal is a parasitic bootlicker.

My wife and I have a smaller group of friends now and it's honestly not just about being trumpers but everyone else we knew were single, miserable people that think the world will end if we don't have the cackler in office.

Yeah, it seems the messaging from Blue team is geared towards fear mongering to single people while Red Team fear mongers for families. Its crazy to me how much my perspective and world view shifted after I got married. My single friends kinda acted like I betrayed them.

My wife was a radical change. She went from being my girlfriend that was almost crying to me 2018 about how could even be ok with trump as president to now where she made us go and vote on the first day of early voting for Trump and finds him endearing

Having kids and being a loving couple does that I guess

Man that's the truth. Friend group essentially split into the married people and the singles. I try reaching out to a group of about 10 people monthly to catch up, the only ones that actually bother to call back/answer are the married guys. The single guys are still spending their time at bars to try to score but apparently anyone not conducive to that as a wingman isn't worth the time.

What's extra sad is if they stayed in touch with me then they could come to my neighborhood cookouts and meet multiple single normal women that my wife knows. But nah, they're too busy doing one night stands and risking becoming dads with some strange anyway lmao (which has happened to 2 of them)

Edit: now that I'm thinking about it, our monthly cookouts are almost 50/50 men/women, and (know how we all drink as guys) they have to be spending $200/week on bars when they could do the same drinking for like $20/week being at a house. Mind blowing that I used to do that too

I'm going through the exact same thing. I was probably the worst of the group when it came to going out and trying to get laid. Then I meet a woman that I actually enjoy spending time with and that complements my life and then comes just a subtle change where getting someone to call me back is like pulling teeth. They'll happily come to a giant house party if I throw it, but they'll leave before its winding down to go to a bar where theres no one that they'll talk to anyway, they'll just spend more money talking to uglier single chicks than were just at my house.

They will turn your son. My friend move to a conservative area. She took your approach for her kids sake. Both of them be spew homophobic and racist hatred. Why do you let him hang with these people? Their kids learn for them. He's hearing this when he's with them and when he's in their homes.

He would have no friends if I didn't let him be friends with these kids. All their parents are Trumpers. It's not the kids fault they're being indoctrinated to support Trump. These kids are 8 and 9 and rabid for Trump, which is insane and abnormal. When I was 8 and 9, kids were not worshipping politicians like this and I grew up in an even more conservative and religious area.

I grew up in a rural area that was extremely conservative. I had foster parents that literally forced me to listen to Rush Limbaugh on a daily basis and always had Fox News on. We went to very conservative churches. But the principals my biological mother taught me and the way that I read the gospels stuck with me more.

I am no longer Christian, but I still hold strong values and ethics that I teach my son. I talk to him and ask him questions. I teach him to think critically and verify information.

Not every left leaning person can just up and move to left leaning areas. I am not going to leave my son friendless in the meantime because his friends are being brainwashed by their parents.

It's good to hear that those strong Christian values are still in your bloodline - you can pretend to not be Christian but you still are in every other meaningful way. Jesus :marseyandjesus: will always embrace you, even as you fall deeper into sin and your son will also love :marseyembrace: him
