Im so glad liberals are at the point where the taliban's rise to power isnt due to the poverty of the region, their leaders taking advantage of the conflicts with other countries for indoctrination, wanting to hang onto their culture in the face of western powers aggressively bombing the place in the name of forcing a culture onto its people, the fact most of its members are typically recruited as teenage boys or just the fact theyve had this culture for millions of years and dont have infrastructure to choose democratically or are simply too controlled by religious elites, but instead because brown people just have an inferior culture that gets off on specifically targetting women.
