Would you rather be alone in the desert for 90 days with a woman or a dog? :marseytrad: :marseytrans:

I would easily pick a dog. He would actually be useful in a desert, unlike a woman.

Neither. They're both deadweight in a survival situation.

We gotta go deeper in the parameters. What if the woman is a little chubby and lactating. Maybe that would work as a source of nutrients? And for a dog what if it's trained for hunting or something and can help you find food or something. I feel like they could be kind of positive given the right circumstances.

Only way I would ever pick the foid is if it was my wife or gf. A hunting dog wouldn't do much good in a desert.

Fair although I think it depends on the desert. If it's just sand dunes forever then it's over regardless but if it's just arid with some life around I think a dog or woman could likely contribute without being pure deadweight. I think there is an extremely narrow set of circumstances where you run into enough resources to sustain a single person rather than not enough or some extra. They do have to be able to contribute though and at that point you are probably right that both are a net negative.

It would come down to what kind of dog it was and if I had a gun on me or not.

I guess the dog because I could kill it for meat if it came to it.
