Quite honestly, I'd divorce my husband if he didn't take prepping seriously. You have to be a team - and he doesn't want to be on your team.
Sadly, you are probably correct - he's secretly a right wing nut job who doesn't care about your safety.
Make an exit plan and get divorced ASAP. It's better to be alone with your daughter than to "team up" with someone who can't be trusted to prepare for ANY emergency.
Look for another woman to team up with instead, someone who will take your concerns seriously. Because this man obviously doesn't care if you live or die.
