Not historically. Women love the idea about being able to change your identity based on how you feel, and effeminate men have held a ton of cultural influence amongst women.

Yes their own identities, they love being able to reinvent themselves, they don't like men (which they see :marseytrain2: s as) reinventing themselves.

Women gatekeep and guard access to the privilege of femininity and have always done. Feminists in the past a la Dworkin might write about how it's good that "men are cutting their peepees off" and acting androgynous but as soon as they stop being eunuch things separate from women and start being included in broader femininity cis-women generally react badly.

Women gatekeep and guard access to the privilege of femininity and have always done.

See this is the neurodivergent, male-brained MtF perspective. Really this is a matter of socialization. Women exert rigid social controls on each other in a manner that requires high amounts of social awareness and theory of mind (at least moreso than moids). So when a spergy MtF that grew up undersocialized transitions with titty skittles and tries to enter foid social circles as one of them, she finds herself at best as a tolerated outsider.

But this "gatekeeping" isn't really about not physically passing well enough, it's that the spergs never became socialized properly as women (and usually never fully actualized as men either). They keep the same male-dominated social circles and same hobbies like speedrunning, open source programming, and internet moderation because they don't even parse that they need to change their social habits in the first place. Cis-women who don't grasp socialization because of autism or a weird upbringing end up being pariahs in foid social groups in a similar way.

HSTS can transition well because they usually grow up socializing with foids heavily. When they transition they might be accepted by moids more cause of appearance, but they're accepted by foids because they can speak and act properly like a cis-foid. Dworkin does not represent the average woman in any way, her whole perspective was that of someone deep into gender warfare.

True, I've been a strag hag before I am aware of this.

I mean yeah, this is true. If you are socialised male you'll never really be able to get over that, the collective weight of female experiences growing up. Sad!

It is generally about passing, but more broadly it's about pretty privilege. Even if you are kinda spergy if you look good you'll be forgiven.

To be honest it's more that they feel like it's a more comfortable and accepting space to exist in. I mean I'm not into any of those things but if you want to have a good time and feel comfortable the last thing you want to do is be in an environment where you constantly have to worry about passing and how you behave. This is why I think foids find socialisation and hanging out exhausting and a chore rather than something to do to relax. They get burned out by socialisation because for them socialisation is not recreational like it is for a lot of moids rather a battle of status and power.

I ONLY associated with women growing up until I was 8-9 and even as a teenager I hung around with women a lot and I still ended up AGP "attracted to woman" sperg somehow, but Blanchard's categories are too reductive to apply unironically anyway.

Not really, at least as far as I have seen, they might be ostracised by specific groups of women but they aren't cast out of womanhood as a whole. Even if they are they can go from being low status in female groups to being high status by joining male hobbies (RPG groups for example).
