We've been dating for a few months and just recently started getting into deeper conversations.

We were on a drive back from a date and I brought up how my mom died in a fire a few years ago.

Her response was that she went out in a blaze of glory and she laughed.

I called her a b-word and she went on to say it was just a joke. I told her to leave my car.

See, I would've chuckled if she'd made that joke. My wife would make that joke. That's why people date before getting married. I could never marry someone who clutches their pearls over bants.

I'm more insulted that she didn't really apologise, and instead tried to turn it back on him for calling her a b-word when she made fun of his mother's death.

I'm on his side, he finally tells her something personal and she laughs in his face, blames it on her dad being an butthole, guilts him with a panic attack, etc. I get accepting bants, but sensitive areas are sensitive areas, trusting who you can choose to with them is important, and if he's clearly not making light of the situation then she's just being an butthole.

The stereotype of foids not wanting their men to have inconvenient emotions just got another anecdotal reinforcement.
