Only indirectly related, but it's worth pointing out that churches run on unpaid female labor. Typically it's women, especially mothers, who do the work of teaching children to pray, reading them Bible stories, leading Sunday School classes, organizing church events, and, maybe most importantly of all, actually dragging the family to church.
Do not get me started on the parasitic charity job nature of church secretaries and paid church positions, especially for women. It's the r-slurred, lazy version of any job at a different organization with 10x the smugness.

Children can't pay their parents because they don't have money and husbands pool their money with their wife, creating on average a large flow of value from the husband to the wife which is what compensates in a sense whatever spouse performs less salary work.
Capitalism really owes the Marx-inspired critique of commodification, as it is often what turns the thing into a commodity in the first place, even in cases where it is a feat not even Ayn Rand would have been capable of.
