Isn't the notion of going on a "gender journey" or whatever intrinsically sort of problematic? If this were common why would we not expect conversion therapy to (sometimes) work, or other policies that are meant to influence the outcomes of this journey? When a parent refuses to validate their kids' budding trans identity and says "it's just a phase", don't comics like this support their attitude?

TRAs tend to rely pretty heavily on rhetoric that being trans is about some sort of self-discovery of "who you truly are", and that any sort of skepticism or pushback is tantamount to attacking their existence. But this is not a defensible position if you also admit that maybe people often end up being wrong about being trans and that's fine.

Honestly, I wish the TRAs would just quit anime, stop posting weird sexual femboy memes, touch grass, and stop being chronically online instead of dying on these stupid "buying kids puberty blockers is a good thing, chud" hills. It would do wonders for their PR.
