Honestly, yeah the problem is you. Not in a rude way, but cheating is so normalized on social media nowadays that I'm honestly not surprised so many people have shitty relationships yet fail to realize why.

Yes actually. You're living the life akin to a cartoon character. Not overtly perfect but unrealistically idyllic. There's a lot of sisters out there who are absolute train wrecks mentally, usually due to a cascading series of unfortunate events that buck break them. This is an extreme example certainly but less extreme cases are certainly common enough, if not the norm.

There are always the good parts too that you don't hear about. They're comfortable together, they know each other, they have some history. It's hard to split up with someone you're generally compatible with and start sorting through all the losers on dating apps when there's a guy right there who already knows and understands you.

There's also that reactions to cheating is pretty variable. You're supposed to be very upset, and probably most people are, but a lot of people just naturally don't care that much. It makes them a bit annoyed and that's it. One of those things people don't talk about much because it looks kind of bad if you don't care so you pretend you do.

Every group has that subcategory, the repository of all the stereotypical behaviours that are attributed to the whole. They're not complimentary, so we bristle at the unfairness of it, but then you see someone like this and realise, foreign as they are, they are who the stereotypes come from.

And it's not just that they have those stereotypical qualities, it's that they're entirely composed of them, in public, uncaring. It makes them seem like a cartoon designed by people who hate you, they're that embarrassingly stereotypical.

These are either really insecure people, trashy people, mentally ill or all three. Insecurity is usually the big factor though.

I've thought about this and I've seen with some married friends... maybe if I were married w/kids and a husband I really loved stepped out of line once - maybe maybe I could find a way to forgive him. I'm not sure about that one, it's hypothetical but I know some women who seem to have worked through infidelity.
