Min Hee-Jin; 45 years old, with experience in music production and artistic direction. She is most known for her work in two of the biggest K-pop companies SM and HYBE.

She was formerly the CEO of ADOR, a HYBE subsidiary, until being forced to resign (seen in GIF above) by its parent company HYBE in August 27, 2024 due to a power struggle for control of the company.

Although stepping down from her ADOR position, Min Hee-Jin was responsible for Newjeans during the creation and most successful periods of the group's career.

Online, Min Hee-Jin is also known as a suspected groomer who uses her position of power to her advantage.

NewJeans TLDR

NewJeans is a fairly new K-pop group, debuting in 2022, owned by HYBE. Being decently popular, they broke some records (ex. Fastest K-pop act to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify at March 2023), and are one of the most popular female groups of 4th generation K-pop.

There are 5 members; Danielle, Haerin, Hanni, Hyein, and Minji.

Member's ages at debut:

• Minji at 18 years old

• Hanni and Danielle at 17 years old

• Haerin at 16 years old

• and Hyein at 14 years old

South Korean law dictates that anyone below the age of 19 is considered a minor.

It's not uncommon for K-pop companies to debut idols as young as 15, so Hyein being 14 at time of debut isn't entirely strange if we look at K-pop as a whole,

but we should keep this in mind.

WeirdJeans

Cookie is NewJeans' third single following their debut, releasing in August of 2022. It was recieved with success as well as controversy by K-pop fans due to the nature of the song combined with the ages of NewJeans members, who were considered to be minors by Korean law at the time of this song's release and stage performances.

• Lyrics

Anyone can tell that this song isn't actually about cookies, but ADOR wants people to believe it's about baking CDs. Yeah, right...

"Numerous doctors in English literature, interpreters and native speakers told us that 'cookie' is not widely used sexual slang," Ador said in a statement. "So the term itself cannot be a problem, although its interpretations can differ depending on people's subjective experiences. However, slang is not part of standard language that everyone should know about."

This is clearly an incredibly dark and cruel industry if the company felt more than comfortable giving a young girl group a song like this. I pray these girls stay blessed and protected despite the dangers of fame..

• Outfits and stage

A revealing imitation of a Korean school uniform worn by one of the members during the Cookie MV and Inkigayo stage.

The stage is made to look like a classroom and the girls are students.

In another MV, NewJeans' debut single Attention, the youngest member of the group who was 14 at the time was chosen for the most revealing outfit. Older member's outfits cover them more.

** Preliminary Evidence **

Before her executive director role for NewJeans at HYBE, Min Hee-Jin was a creative director for a different K-pop company; SM, working closely with a group called f(x). It's believed that Min Hee-Jin, who was responsible for f(x), is still close with Krystal, the youngest member of the group who debuted at 14 years old.

In an interview with Krystal and Min Hee-Jin by GQ magazine this is said:

Brooke Shields is an American actress (born in 1965, now 59) who may also be known for the controversies surrounding her child modeling career.

It's believed that Brooke was exploited as a child model, with two of the most notable events being;

• Modeling nude at 10 years old for Playboy.

• Playing the role of a child prostitute at 12 years old in a movie called Pretty Baby.

Knowing about this interaction between Min Hee-Jin and Krystal, it's notable to mention that Min Hee-Jin also had a private interaction with Hyein. Krystal and Hyein share parallels, like being the youngest member of a group Min Hee-Jin had great influence in. They were both 14 when Min Hee-Jin met with them in a casual setting. In an interview with BE(ATTITUDE) Magazine, Min Hee-Jin says this;

She (Hyein) came to my (Min Hee-Jin) home one day and we ate together, went to the bookstore, and walked around the neighborhood, talking about this and that. There was a passing awkwardness, but after a while it felt like I was taking a walk with a friend. She's got so many talents and amazing skills. She's young, but thoughtful, with that innocence they have at that age.

Min Hee-Jin's apartment itself raises some concern because it's like a creep's paradise. People noticed some strange choices in her decorations, like

• Pictures of Brooke Shields during her child modeling career. "Baby Brooke" is a nickname referencing the movie Pretty Baby she was in.

• Pictures of unknown, but clearly very young, girls posing topless and bottomless.

• Histoire de Melody Nelson, an album by Serg Gainsbourg. The album's story is about the relationship between a 14 year old girl and an adult man where he takes her virginity.

• A scandalous shot taken from Le Farò Da Padre (I'll Take Her Like a Father). The movie is about an older man who has a relationship with an r-slured and hypersexual teen girl.

Knowing that Min Hee-Jin is in a position of power over teen girls, is it appropriate for her to be taking them to her home and spending time alone with them in a casual setting?

Min Hee-Jin has never been called out on her apparent interest in teenage girls publicly, but would she have been if she was a man?

Is her interest in exploited child stars just a coincidence?

But most of all, why do famous and rich people always have to be into the weirdest shit?
