People who unironically do soy-level political analysis of 40k are some of the dumbest fricking people on the face of the Earth. "Um ackchyually the Imperium is a social commentary on the evils of fascism" completely misses the fricking point of the setting. The authors aren't making a profound statement about the true evils of fascism, they're just using it as set-dressing for a universe of everything being constantly bleak, oppressive, and shitty as a justification for cool space battles. If you were to take anything in the 40k setting as a serious commentary on politics, they would actually be saying that fascism is the only option despite its flaws because literally any deviation from it whatsoever means demonic infestation or alien invasion or some other shit that's infinitely worse. That obviously isn't the message they're trying to convey so just shut up and enjoy painting your plastic manchild toys.

@float-trip to reprogram bussy-boy as Penny 
to commemorate the loss 
of the "Penny" 
we knew and loved and he came through of course! (Float-trip as a reminder is our native god tier AI codechad who also completely set up, trained, and pays/allows for us to have the marsey stable diffusion model + bot + lending cloud GPU time etc) 
He can correct me on the following but iirc the bot itself uses a trained chat GPT model with whole of rdrama comments and it can also be set to mimic any user through the time it went live. Float also ran a temporary demo where you could interact with any drama user as a chatbot showing off it's capacity.
Obviously the more comments for the selected user, the more natural it behaves.

There are perpetual hellraiser cenobites barbarism caused by chaos on global scales in the lore - so it will be deceisively toned down
But the point remained even if the Imperium of Man was a Totalitarian state, chaos has always been the most evil faction in the setting, as they explicitly cannot thrive without cruelty of off suffering of sapient species, as the warp/space-heck nether dimension can only summon their forces into reality by causing extreme emotion in reality which opens emotion-fueled heck-portals from space-heck
And usually this emotion is is generically murder-raping innocents on absurd edgy scale

I wish we had Xenos Chaos models. The Horus Heresy books mentions all sorts of creepy psyker xenos the Imperium btfo. It'd be cool if those xenos barely survived and fell to Chaos to survive. Chaos is a galactic phenomenon and Chaos worshipping xenos are mentioned a lot in the sourcebooks but never seen :(

Old lore had it so the Chaos Gods (except Slaanesh) were each born due to events in human history, i.e: Nurgle was born during the Black Death or something.
This was retconned in favor of Chaos as a corruption of the Immaterium emerging circa 10,000BC during a war between the Old Ones and their Ork/Eldar servitors vs proto-Necrons led by fully-formed C'tan.
