How much r*pe is there in 40K? Like is it going really against the lore if they tone down the r*pe in the Amazon show?

There are perpetual hellraiser cenobites barbarism caused by chaos on global scales in the lore - so it will be deceisively toned down

But the point remained even if the Imperium of Man was a Totalitarian state, chaos has always been the most evil faction in the setting, as they explicitly cannot thrive without cruelty of off suffering of sapient species, as the warp/space-heck nether dimension can only summon their forces into reality by causing extreme emotion in reality which opens emotion-fueled heck-portals from space-heck

And usually this emotion is is generically murder-raping innocents on absurd edgy scale

I wish we had Xenos Chaos models. The Horus Heresy books mentions all sorts of creepy psyker xenos the Imperium btfo. It'd be cool if those xenos barely survived and fell to Chaos to survive. Chaos is a galactic phenomenon and Chaos worshipping xenos are mentioned a lot in the sourcebooks but never seen :(

Not that much tbh. There is more r*pe in GoT. For every 1000 pages of detailed murder porn there is a few lines of s*x. Every mention can be found in /r/40klore. Games Workshop likes to play it safe. Even Slaneeshi emphasize excess over s*x/r*pe.
