Basically I've been out of this game for some time, as the $ r*pes the rand in conversion. One a year I'll go out and look for deals but it's for poor in terms of buying cool new yugioh shit.
I used to hunt 2nd hand yugioh collections in 2019-2020, but now im a deadbeat, even cards that are old and garbage I love to add to my collection like stamps
Anyways CONTEXT!!!
There are two main formats and basically markets in the world which KONAMI the company which makes the children's card game for manchildren.
The OCG and TCG. OCG means “Official Card Game” while TCG means “Trading Card Game”. OCG cards are cards that have been printed originally in Japan and other Asian countries and are widely played in those regions. Meanwhile, TCG cards are cards printed in different languages such as English, Portuguese, French, Spanish - basically westoids.
Since inception Japs had better deals and better quality 20 plus years ago, and westoid cucks always moan about it.
Also any dramatards with old yugioh cards, even trash unviable old stuff, I collect them like stamps

You didn't even mention how Konami also bumps the rarities up after seeing what actually gets played in the OCG

Did you bough the mgs remaster vol 1 collection for 60 buxx and no 4k or 60 fps ?

I saw that a few months ago and was really confused
If it isn't a remaster or a remake, what's the point? They already made a MGS collection back for Xbox360.

Difference between xbox360 version is that it includes mgs1 so technically they only remastered mgs1 and that's very “technically” because they uses free ps1 emulator to just res bump that game

Since forever, like you could had bough new AAA ps5 game on Turkish psn for 15 buxxs so Sony don't sell Turkish psn cards and you need dedicated Turkish card to buy on psn.

I used to play local tournaments when cookie cutter chaos was the best deck in like 2003-2004. I sold anything from my childhood worth $ for drug money as a teenager/early 20s though so I think I only have a couple collector's tins somewhere at my parent's house in America.
Still have a ton of Magic cards from 5th edition through... Kamigawa blockish era but same deal sold my legacy deck and most anything else I could liquidate for $ above bulk common price.

I met one black person playing MTG—I was 12 when I started and I was doing my first commander game when he sat down next to me and said “‘Sup kid. You afraid of black people?” I sat there stunned before he laughed and allied with me the whole game (not that I lasted long because my deck was trash )
Why so many kangs in Yugioh? Cultural bleed from watching DBZ?

With card games the only real relevant metric is average cost to complete a play set. I don't doubt it's worse now but this info graphic doesn't really address that. Value wise youre paying an absurd amount for cardboard and the secondary market is going to correct for "value" differences.

As a kid I got put in detention at school because I traded yugioh cards I printed at home with real ones.
I didn't get the difference, they were all pieces of paper anyway

So, Konami is being Konami?
Who would have thought that a company known for its ties to yakuza might be run by greedy and unscrupulous people?
