"I'm really fair and balanced I swear. Here are the most absurd caricatures of trailer park Trump voters"

Meanwhile in reality

In the 2016 presidential election, exit polls indicated that around 52% of white voters earning over $200,000 per year voted for Donald Trump. This group tended to lean more Republican compared to other income brackets, although their support for Trump was somewhat lower than that of lower-income white voters.

>52% of white voters earning over $200,000

so like 1% of the population? The team that brags about their understanding of statistics, everyone.

I don't have it broken down by race but if 6% earned $200k+ then it was probably more like 9% of whites. Obviously here in 2025 those numbers would be considerably higher due to inflation.

In 2016, about 5-6% of American households earned over $200,000 annually. This group represented a relatively small portion of the overall population, with income distribution skewed toward lower and middle-income earners.

For context, the U.S. Census Bureau reported that in 2016, the median household income was around $59,000, so those earning over $200k were among the higher earners in the country.

whites are 50% of the pop and you were citing 50% of that so yeah you're literally using 1% of the population as representative of trumps base lol

It's just that thing where they switch between their enemies being small and pathetic, or being Machiavellian and all-powerful. He's doing 'everyone who disagrees with me is a dumb hick,' but if it comes to putting people like him in camps then they'll all be Orwellian ubermensch with infinite resources to prosecute for wrongthink.
